Oven Roasted Chicken

Oven roasted chicken, easy and delicious. Simply season the chicken, toss in some vegetables, cook and enjoy! The mouth watering broth the chicken produces will keep you coming back for more.

Oven Roasted Chicken


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Pat the chicken dry using paper towels. 

  3. Add salt, pepper, and seasonings to chicken.

  4. Place the chicken in a 9x13 dish or Dutch oven then place in oven for 20 minutes.

  5. Turn heat down to 375 degrees and cook for another 35-45 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 165 degrees on a thermometer.

  6. OPTIONAL: To make this a one pot dish, add chopped red potatoes and carrots at step 5 when the heat is turned down to 375 degrees. 


  • 4-5 pound Purely Pastured Farm Whole Chicken

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Itailan sesoning or seasoning of your choice


  • 2 pounds red potatoes

  • 4-5 carrots
