Introduction

Simple and delicious, these pan fried pork chops are guaranteed to be your families favorite dinner. With just a few seasonings, butter & pork chops, the center piece for dinner will be pork!

Pan Fried Pork Chops

Steps

  1.  Add 2 tablespoons of butter to cast iron skillet. Turn heat to medium on stovetop and heat cast iron skillet.

  2. Mix seasonings and add to both sides of pork chops.

  3. Add pork chops to skillet and reduce heat to low. Sear on both sides until brown. 

  4. Check internal temperature and if at 140 degrees remove from heat. Add butter to top of pork chops and let them rest for about 2-3 minutes. 

** If pork chops do not reach the desired internal temperature, cook in oven at 375 degrees for about 5-8 minutes or until internal temperature is at 140 degrees. Once at desired temperature remove and let rest for 2-3 minutes. 

Ingredients

  • 2 Purely Pastured Farm Pork Chops (bone-in)

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
