Made with our pasture-raised pork, they're generously seasoned and slow-roasted until fall-apart tender, then finished with a sticky glaze of your favorite barbecue sauce. The result? A hearty, satisfying dish that’s perfect for a cozy dinner at home — no grill required. Serve them up with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or cornbread for a true homestyle meal.

Oven-Baked Country Style Ribs

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. Season the ribs: In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder. Rub seasoning all over the ribs.

  3. Arrange in a baking dish: Place ribs in a single layer in a baking dish or on a rimmed sheet pan. Add a splash (about ¼ cup) of water or broth to the bottom to keep them moist. Cover tightly with foil.

  4. Bake for 2 to 2½ hours, until the ribs are fork tender.

  5. Add BBQ sauce: Remove foil, brush ribs with barbecue sauce, and return to the oven uncovered.

  6. Finish baking for 20–30 more minutes, until caramelized and sticky.

  7. Rest and serve: Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving. Serve with extra sauce if desired.

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional, but recommended)

  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional for heat)

  • ½ cup barbecue sauce (plus more for serving)
